Nancy’s Pizza Signage on East Lincoln Highway

Customers may discover a restaurant through a recommendation or an online search, but signage helps them recognize it when they arrive. A business name displayed at the location connects that first discovery with the destination itself.

TFA Signs provided signage for Nancy’s Pizza at 1840 E. Lincoln Highway in New Lenox, Illinois. Completed on October 5, 2026, the project served the restaurant’s identification needs along the Lincoln Highway corridor.

Helping Customers Find the Restaurant They Know

Restaurant signage has a straightforward purpose: make the business recognizable. For someone visiting for the first time, it provides a useful point of confirmation. For returning customers, it reinforces a familiar destination.

The Nancy’s Pizza project brought this practical purpose to a local New Lenox restaurant. The signage identifies the business at its East Lincoln Highway address, connecting the Nancy’s Pizza name with the location customers are looking for.

What Matters When Planning Restaurant Signage?

A restaurant sign does not need to communicate everything about the business. Giving the name room to stand out can be more useful than filling the available space with competing messages.

When planning signage, important considerations include:

  • Readability: How easily the business name can be understood at different viewing distances.

  • Placement: Where the sign will sit in relation to the building and customer approach.

  • Brand consistency: How the signage relates to the restaurant’s other branding.

  • Available space: How the sign’s proportions work with the location.

These considerations provide a starting point for businesses planning new signage or reviewing an existing sign.
